# Windsurf Cascade Operational Mandate
Before engaging in any multi-file rewrite (Cascade), you must comply with standard operational procedures.

1. BROWSE BEFORE WRITE: Read '/src/types/index.ts' before making any assumptions about data models.
2. CASCADE LIMITS: DO NOT rewrite more than 3 files in a single pass. If a feature demands 10 files, stop and ask me to split the task in half.
3. ORPHAN CODE AVOIDANCE: When removing a feature, you MUST trace and remove its exports, its tests, and its css variables. Do not leave dead code.
4. IMPORTS: Always use absolute paths (e.g. `@/components/` instead of `../../components/`). Modify `tsconfig.json` automatically if required, but ask permission first.
